I am job hunting. In talking to several recruiters they highly recommended me networking and taking my linkedin account seriously. I had opened in account on Linkedin some time ago but did nothing with it. Therefore, I am drawing from my experience and developing some sites to offer people information and avail myself to answer any queries regarding mortgages, debt, credit and the like as a way to network. What I have not been good at is in utilizing this medium of social netowrking to making my profile appealing to people telling them that I am available for such free advice. How can I better organize my profile?

Thanks so much for your offer to help me get up to speed on Linkedin. I think that this is a huge opportunity to connect with other businesses in an environment that doesn’t make me feel like a 16 year old. I am an immigrant to the computer age and while I work on the computer every day in my estimating business I am not particularly “geeky” in the sense that I can intuitively solve internet issues. I need help getting up to speed and I’m grasping at your offer.
