Who has used Tikiwiki for a full group collaborative website?
I’ve started to set-up a new collaboration website using Tikiwiki ( tikiwiki.org ) because it is an install option from my hosting company. It contains not only a wiki component but also:
o Forums (like phpBB)
o Blogs (like WordPress)
o Articles (like Digg)
o Image Gallery (like Flickr)
o Map Server (like Google Maps)
o Link Directory (like DMOZ)
o Multilingual (like Babel Fish)
o Bug tracker (like Bugzilla)
o RSS feeds (in & out)
o Free source software (LGPL)
The thing that scares me about using something like drupal or joomla is the inter-dependency hell that causes things to break when one component is upgraded. At least with Tikiwiki there is the promise of parrallel supported upgrades of individual components.
What are you experiences with this?
